Jill's Inspirations for Body Blissmas:
1. A lifelong obsession with wellness.
2. A fan of delicious food which includes gourmet and healthy cooking training.
3. Ten years as an occupational therapist in mental health. Six of those years were spent working on an eating disorder unit prescribing creative activities and cognitive therapy to shift the patients control of the body and unhealthy preoccupations with weight to the control of art media and expression through a creative outlet.
4. In depth nutrition education for healthy mind, body and soul by earning a Yoga teacher certification at White Lotus Yoga Institute in Santa Barbara and studies in nutrition and health . (However, the nutrition plans that Blissmas are based upon were devised by medical doctors: Diana Schwarzbein and Joel Fuhrman).
5. 11 years as a creativity coach, workshop leader, writer, artist and program developer has given Jill good insight into what keeps people engaged in healthy change and creative passions even when they are a resistant, temperamental, and rebellious group of individuals. The KMCC system helps people in overwhelm easily make the changes they desire.
"I believe that in order to maintain desirable weight, wellness and creative passion changes we need support, practice, reminders and patience. I also believe if humor, creativity, and imagination are involved we become more motivated, inspired and willing to commit. With creativity we expand our possibilities in any sphere we wish to enter - in the sphere of wellness and weight loss: perspective, attitude, intuition and inner strength build our authentic strength and ability to use our wisdom.
Creative thought and expression can make wellness and weight loss so much more attainable.
Feeling the energy of a healthy body and mind makes being creative something we can more easily do using our full potential for the rest of our lives. A creative life is a fulfilling life."
Warmly, Jill Badonsky
